2. Pre-Examination Procedures Before seeing the ophthalmologist, a trained technician will conduct a series of preliminary tests to assess your vision and eye health.

• Pupil Dilation: Eye drops will be used to dilate your pupils for a more thorough examination of the retina and optic nerve.
